How it works

HOW IT WORKS

A COMMUNITY BUILT FOR THE LOVE OF TRAVEL

We encourage all Travelers share. 


Here is what all you can do on Travizars.com:

1. Travel goes micro! - Probably the most exciting of all, you can list anything like a place or a shop which isn't available on Google. It can even be a Tyre puncture repair stall on a deserted road, a tea stall with a tea you won't mind riding few miles to have a sip of. It's travel goes micro!
2. Travel Talks - you can start a discussion for any of your travel related query or you can create an event to meet up.
3. Homestays & Rooms - You can rent your space, request a homestay or create an event to promote your homestay.
4. Camping & Hiking - You can rent out, sell, request an item. Create an event to plan a group hiking/camping or to promote your business. Offer trek/travel guide or other travel services. 
5. Camera & Electronics - You can request an item on rent or rent out/sell an electronic item. You can offer service like repair or insurance. You can create an event for photography or any adventure gear gadget.
6. Bikes & Cars - Post a bike or car request, rent out or create an event. Also, you can offer services like bike/car repair or even insurance.
7. Contests. Tasks & influencers - You can request a task you may be interested doing to earn while you travel (for influencers). Run contests and promotions to promote your business (for business looking for influencers). Create a task you want travelers to help complete it in order to promote your business. Offer travel services to get a task and earn.

RETURN POLICY:

Our return policy depends upon the condition of item.

For rented items, the return request must be raised within 2 days of the delivery of the item. Also, since it is a rented item, minimum 1 day of rent and return shipping is payable by the user. Any refunds will be made after deducting 1 day rent and return shipping charges or as specified by the owner of the item. 

If not as described or Defective items may be returned for an exchange, return, refund or upgrade within 10 days from the date you received it. Special order items, cut cables, software and books are non-returnable.

Please ensure that the item you're returning is with all the packaging, accessories and documentation that were included when you received it.

 

For Non defective items, you may return it within 10 days from the date you received it. However, 10% restocking fees will apply.All return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We allow cancellations if the order has not been shipped for a full refund minus nominal (2-4%) card processing fees, if applicable.


CREATING A PROFILE

User profiles are important because it builds trust within the community. People will not share things with you or borrow from you if you do not have a completed profile. Who are you? Why do you love Traveling? Where are you from?

If you have something travel related to share, that's fantastic. But if you want to connect with some travelers, here are a few things you need to think about.

Use good quality photographs to show your item in the best lightWrite about your item/offer, describe its features. Is it good for getting around town? Where is it located? Is it available at weekends? Do you provide accessories alongwith?  

Prepare your Item. Give your borrower an item that is fit for use. Make sure that everything is in shipshape condition.

Respond to requests as quickly as you can. Travelers who love your travel gear will want to book it. When someone contacts you, reply quickly to let them know that you are happy to share your gear with them and that it is available.

Arrange a time and location to meet for picking up/dropping off the Item. It can be a home address, a local coffee shop, a library, or any other location that is convenient.

While you are renting out an Item, be available as much as possible to help remedy any issues that may arise. If you'll be out of the area, provide your the borrower with a designated and reliable point of contact. You know your gear and your schedule best so we ask that you update your listing to reflect when it is unavailable to rent.

Genuine reviews are the cornerstone of Travizars' trusted community. You have 14 days to write a review and share comments about your experience with your borrower. Your borrower also has the opportunity to review you and your Item too. This builds trust in the Travizars community.
